Band President David Graves convened an impromptu board meeting at 9:05 pm on November 1, 2016 after rehearsal at the HVHS. Attending were: David Graves, Barry Tucker, Ken Richardson, Gary Kraterfield, Gretchen Miller, Jessica Curtin, Gary Beveridge, Susan Schlossberg, Richard Whitney, Charles Lamb and Dan Pollock.
- Jessica Curtin asked to step down as the Business Manager because of a family medical emergency and work pressures. She indicated that she may be able to return to this position in late spring if the situation improves. David Graves volunteered to pick up the responsibilities in the interim. Our prayers go out to Jessica and her family.
- A tentative date of February 21st has been set for a concert at Brandon Oaks. The concert will consist primarily of music from our Fall Concert.
- Spring rehearsals will start up on the 2nd or 3rd week of January, depending on how fast the music folders can be prepared.
- It was decided that we should provide refreshments after the fall concert for the audience. Band members would be asked to bring a light snack. A band section will be assigned to organize the sign up list and to handle the refreshment table. It was also suggested that we collect can goods from the audience that would be donated to one the local service organizations.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:12 PM
